Example

  • Async clients:
    • Use native-tls: cargo run -p example --bin native_tls_client_async
    • Use rustls: cargo run -p example --bin rustls_client_async

simple-hyper-client vs reqwest

reqwest offers a lot of features on top of hyper, see their readme. This crate's features as follows:

  • Simpler HTTP client API compared to hyper's.
  • A blocking interface as well as the async one.
  • An optional (enabled by feature) TLS connector using native-tls.
  • Working great in no-std env.
