The std feature is set by default whenever pallet-collator-selection is added without default-features = false somewhere in the dependency tree.

std default

Enables std of parity-scale-codec, frame-benchmarking, frame-support, frame-system, log, pallet-authorship, pallet-balances, pallet-session, rand, scale-info, sp-runtime, sp-staking, and sp-std

rand:

Option (enabled by default): without "std" rand uses libcore; this option enables functionality expected to be available on a standard platform.

try-runtime

Enables try-runtime of frame-support, frame-system, pallet-authorship, pallet-session, and sp-runtime

runtime-benchmarks

Enables runtime-benchmarks of frame-benchmarking, frame-support, frame-system, sp-runtime, and sp-staking

Features from optional dependencies
