PromQuery

Query and visualize instant values of Prometheus metrics from the command-line.

Install

With cargo-binstall:

$ cargo binstall promquery

From source via crates.io:

$ cargo install promquery

From source via Git:

$ git clone https://github.com/romac/promquery
$ cd promquery
$ cargo install --path .

Usage

Query and visualize Prometheus metrics from the command-line.

Usage: promquery [OPTIONS] <URL> <METRIC>

Arguments:
  <URL>     URL of the Prometheus server, e.g. http://localhost:9090
  <METRIC>  Name of the metric to query

Options:
      --show-plot  Show a plot for some metric types (e.g. histograms)
  -h, --help       Print help
  -V, --version    Print version

Example

$ promquery 'http://localhost:29000' malachite_consensus_time_per_block --show-plot
